Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! Where else would you find puppet shows, penny lick ice creams, pleasure gardens and bathing machines but at a Victorian seaside resort? Take the steam-train of thought back in time to the late 1800s (that’s when family holidays became affordable) in this Victorian workshop for KS1. Together with our facilitator, your pupils will use imagination and drama to recreate the sights and sounds of the beach. Play on the pier, make a postcard and see what you could buy for 1 penny. A true holiday into history!
