Dust off the toy box and get ready for a fun-filled trip down memory lane – we’re about to discover how children have played throughout the ages!
Step into a world of playful discovery with this History workshop for KS1. Using drama, movement, and creative storytelling, pupils will become ‘toy detectives’ to explore how toys have changed from the Stone Age to the present day. Together with your One Day facilitator, children will investigate the evolution of materials, from ancient clay to modern tech, and even have the chance to ‘invent’ their own new toys. Get set to spark imaginations while bringing history to life right in your classroom.
