The History of Transport

Once upon a time, humankind’s main mode of transport was travelling with two feet planted firmly on the ground. So how did we go from this to blasting off into outer space?! Embark on this KS1 History of Transport workshop with your One Day facilitator, uncovering the pivotal people and incredible advances that made our trains, planes and automobiles possible. You’ll also soar into the skies with Amelia Earhart, learning what it takes to be the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean!
