The achievements of men have often dominated our history books, but there are many amazing women whose stories also deserve to be told. In fact, their actions continue to influence the world we live in today! In this empowering women-in-history workshop for KS1, your pupils will be joined by a One Day facilitator, using drama and discussion to learn about the lives of four trailblazing women: Ada Lovelace (mathematician), Amelia Earhart (aviator), Malala Yousafzai (education activist) and Mary Seacole (nurse). These four 1-hour workshops can be delivered to the same class, or you can pick 'n' mix across the day to deliver different workshops for up to four different classes. An inspirational workshop all year round or for International Women’s Day in March.

A large, clear space (such as a school hall) is ideal so participating children can move around comfortably. The more information you can provide about the needs of your class the better.
