Ever heard of the English archaeologist, Howard Carter? Well he’s a pro at discovering the tombs of Pharaohs (they were the Kings and Queens of Ancient Egypt!), and today he needs your help. Let’s head back thousands of years in this Ancient Egypt school workshop for KS2 and find out as much as we can about what the Ancient Egyptians did with their mummies. You never know, you may even help him solve the curse of King Tutankhamun!

What to expect
Length
This is delivered as a full day workshop for one class of 35 pupils, or a half day each for two classes. If you are a three-form entry school we can adapt this workshop to accommodate all three classes within the day, to fit in with your school timings.

What we need from you
A large, clear space (such as a school hall) is ideal so participating children can move around comfortably. The more information you can provide about the needs of your class the better.
