In 1926, the first flickering image appeared on a tiny mechanical screen. Fast forward 100 years, and television is no longer confined to a box in our living rooms. Come with us on a journey to discover: have we changed the television or has the television changed us?
Tune in and turn up the volume as we travel through a century of broadcasting! From the silent, black-and-white beginnings to the 'binge-watching' world of today, your pupils will become the actors, the engineers and the audience. This drama workshop explores the incredible evolution of technology and its massive impact on how we see our world. An ideal History or STEM workshop for schools all year round, or to celebrate the centenary of the first TV.
