Start practising those airs and graces, because we’re about to meet two of Britain’s marvellous monarchs in this engaging KS1 workshop.

Get ready to walk through history with your One Day facilitator, where you’ll get to know both Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Elizabeth II. Together you’ll compare their reigns, discover their achievements and learn how they contributed to the world on an international scale. Using role-play, performance and interactive activities, you’ll soon see that the role of a monarch is no mean feat. To the palace!

What the children learn...

  • Learn the significance of the two Queen Elizabeths in historical detail
  • Examine the role of a monarch
  • Understand the differences and similarities between two royal rulers and the historical contexts they lived in
  • Explore ideas and feelings through role-play, voice and drama

How this One Day Workshop works:

Structure

This is delivered as a full day workshop for one class of 35 pupils, or a half day each for two classes.

Price

Pricing for this workshop ranges from £365-£395 + VAT for the full day depending on the number of classes. Please get in touch for a tailored quote.

What we need from you

A large, clear space (such as a school hall) is ideal so participating children can move around comfortably. The more information you can provide about the needs of your class the better.
