Workshop
Earthquakes & Volcanoes
KS2
Popular
What are earthquakes and volcanoes? What causes them to happen? How do humans protect themselves?
The North and South Poles may be on opposite sides of the earth, but just how different are they? Like Ernest Shackleton and Ann Bancroft, pupils will join an expedition into these (not so) desolate tundras. Using performing arts, this Arctic and Antarctic KS2 workshop looks at everything from brave explorers to climate change, Arctic habitats to Antarctic wildlife. Hop on board the mighty ship Endurance and set sail towards the ends of our world! An ideal workshop for schools all year round or for British Science Week.

Class Teacher"The workshop was engaging for all of the children and built on their prior learning. We loved the way that it allowed for the children to really think about the landscape and what the setting would be like if they were there. It was also really helpful to talk about the similarities and differences between the Artic and the Antarctic. Thank you so much to Molly for running our day, it was fantastic!"
