This Jungle Book workshop for KS2 uses a collection of dance and drama activities to introduce the characters in Rudyard Kipling's 'The Jungle Book'. Through body movement, vocal characterisation and narration, pupils will embody the book's wild characters and explore jungle life.

- Use role play and other drama techniques to identify with and explore characters
- Prepare text to read aloud and to perform, show understanding through intonation, tone, volume and action
- Identify and express the themes of jungle life, animal and human interaction through drama and role play
