In this enchanting Literacy film, EYFS and KS1 pupils will join Richard as he explores the magical world of The Three Little Pigs, Jack and the Beanstalk and Cinderella. Act along with these traditional tales, help the pigs to build their houses, climb the beanstalk with Jack and cast your own spells with the magical godmother!
What your pupils will learn
- Children should become increasingly familiar with and be able to retell a wider range of stories, fairy stories and traditional tales
- They should be able to explain and discuss their understanding of books and stories that they listen to
- Roleplay and drama techniques can help pupils identify with and explore new characters. In these ways, they extend their understanding of what they read and have opportunities to try out the language they have listened to.
