Workshop
The Long Walk to Freedom: Nelson Mandela KS2
KS2
Join us as we take a look at South Africa’s ‘Long Walk to Freedom’, explored through the life and times of the revolutionary human rights activist, Nelson Mandela.
Here at One Day we pride ourselves on teaching young people about respect and diversity and we create and deliver many workshops which explore cultures from around the globe. In light of this we wanted to raise awareness of Black History month, which is celebrated in October.
2018 marks the 100 Year Celebration of Nelson Mandela, and his achievement is South Africa – so we have developed two new workshops for the occasion.
