We were gobsmacked by the recent statistic from the British Heart Foundation that most of us will witness a cardiac arrest in our lifetime. And if/when that happens, what will you do?
The charity’s new ‘RevivR’ initiative seeks to make your answer to that question a lot less scary. RevivR is a fast, free, online CPR course which has the potential to help you save someone’s life.
Created by medical experts, this open-to-all CPR training course takes just 15 minutes. In that time, you’ll learn all about CPR (or ‘cardiopulmonary resuscitation’ if you’re feeling fancy) and how to safely perform it in case of an emergency. You never know when you may need it.
A member of Team One Day credits the fact that her dad is still with us today to the St John Ambulance first aid course she attended the year before his first heart attack.
