New Video: See A One Day Mindfulness Workshop In Action!
Introducing our brand new Pupil Mindfulness video! Drum roll please…
We are passionate about lots of things here at One Day: creative learning, equal opportunities, personal development… But one topic at the forefront of our ethos is opening up a discussion around emotional wellbeing, pupil mindfulness and mental health in children.
Feelings such as stress, anxiety, fear and sadness can affect us all. But how do we recognise these emotions and how can we learn to cope with them? This is where our range of Mindfulness workshops come in!
Set at different levels for different age groups, our aim is to equip children with the ability to define these difficult emotions within themselves and know how best to cope with them as and when they arise. Pupil mindfulness goes hand-in-hand with resilience and that is exactly what we want to achieve.
Mindfulness is a powerful skill but as you can see from our video, that doesn’t mean our workshops are all serious! Creative learning means active participation, interactive games, relatable messages and positive encouragement. At the end of the day, pupils leave with a greater understanding of emotions, control behaviour and coping mechanisms. These will support their long-term wellbeing and learning, both inside and outside of the classroom.
So we very much hope you enjoy this video and it helps to offer a greater understanding of the work we do. If you would like to find out more about about our range of Mindfulness workshops, feel free to get in touch on 01937 547 143 or pop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org and we’d be happy to talk it through with you.
With all our best wishes for the upcoming Summer Term,
One Day Creative team xx
