Private: Our Carbon Footprint
KS1
What do we mean when we talk about carbon footprints? Why are some black and sticky (urgh!) while others are fresh and green?
Our planet is home to an incredible 8.7 million species of plants and animals. But can you believe that around 6.5 million of those species are yet to be identified?
It’s time for us to investigate the living world - and its mysteries - more closely. With your One Day facilitator, KS1 and KS2 pupils will use drama, movement and storytelling to embark on a scientific journey through different habitats (or ‘biomes’) on our unique planet. Discover the living things that call these amazing places home and explore how they have adapted to survive, grow and thrive – sometimes against the odds.

Class Teacher"The children were so engaged throughout the session. I was genuinely blown away by how much information the children were able to share with me after the workshop; it clearly had a big impact on their learning. The session was perfectly suited to the needs of our school and provided a creative, engaging way to develop key skills without the pressure of traditional writing tasks. Thank you so much!"
