Our planet is home to an incredible 8.7 million species of plants and animals. But can you believe that around 6.5 million of those species are yet to be identified? 

It’s time for us to investigate the living world - and its mysteries - more closely. With your One Day facilitator, KS1 and KS2 pupils will use drama, movement and storytelling to embark on a scientific journey through different habitats (or ‘biomes’) on our unique planet. Discover the living things that call these amazing places home and explore how they have adapted to survive, grow and thrive – sometimes against the odds.

What the children learn...

  • Explore different habitats and the living things that call them home
  • Identify food sources and understand how life is connected to them
  • Examine how different living things might be grouped and classified
  • Understand the impact humans can have on our planet and the differences we can make
  • Explore ideas and feelings through role-play, voice, movement and drama

How this One Day Workshop works:

Structure

This workshop can be delivered as one-hour or two-hour workshops across a full day, depending on your class numbers and preference.

KS1 / KS2 / P1 - 3 / P4 - 7

Price

Pricing for this workshop ranges from £415-£465 + VAT for the full day depending on the number of classes. Please get in touch for a tailored quote.

What we need from you

A large, clear space (such as a school hall) is ideal so participating children can move around comfortably. The more information you can provide about the needs of your class the better.
