Any idea what life would have been like in the Stone Age? It’s nothing like life today!
Ever heard of the Ancient Maya? They’re a fascinating lot, and so are the terrifying god’s that reigned over them! Let’s head back (waaaaay back) to Mesoamerica to explore what life would have been like as part of this Ancient civilisation.
Your class will…
Option 1 : Creative Play workshops are short and sweet, designed to be a burst of creativity to keep children engaged. As the sessions are usually only an hour long, we can work with four classes across the school day.
Option 2 : One Day Drama packages offer a full day workshop led by an experienced facilitator who collaborates with pupils in order to explore the topic through drama. The focus of a One Day Drama workshop is always the content and learning, but we do offer the opportunity for an informal peer to peer sharing session, where the children can share what they have done throughout the day. This isn’t necessarily a performance, but an opportunity for children to take ownership of the experience. They can share their learning with their peers, or if you wanted, parents.
Tell us more about your classes knowledge of the topic in advance of the workshop so the content we deliver can hit the spot!
"The day was amazing! Your Facilitator was great with the pupils. I would highly recommend your workshops to anyone! The day was enthusiastic, fun and engaging and it ticked a lot of boxes for us, as the drama element meant that we were covering literacy as well as history! We really did get so much out of it, and it was such a great start to our topic. Using drama as a way to start a topic really gets the pupils engaged! I would have you back anytime!"
