Here at One Day, we want all of our young people to be healthier and happier as they grow up.
In February, we journeyed across the country for Safer Internet Day, educating our pupils on the importance of staying safe online. This March, we are plunging feet first into the world of health, fitness and wellbeing for National Nutrition Month.
In support of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics “Bite into a Healthy Lifestyle” campaign – we want to convey the importance of keeping both our bodies, and minds, healthy. Not only do we have a huge range of dance and music workshops which get young pupils up and grooving, but also a special Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds workshop. This title focuses on the benefits of a varied and balanced lifestyle, cutting through confusion around nutrition, exercise and wellbeing.
We are very excited to get talking, thinking and, most importantly, DOING everything that is healthy-living next month.
“Take care of your body. It’s the only place you have to live.” — Jim Rohn
