Alpha & Beta in Ancient Greece

England, Scotland, Wales

Citizens, non-citizens and slaves of ATHENS… gather round and cast your vote! What… slaves, really? They don’t count! Listen up everyone!

Ancient Greece: a city-state with its own Greek law, bizarre rules and MONEY! Lots of it! Where men were warriors but the women of Sparta had the final say. Birthplace to some of the greatest philosophers, doctors, writers and athletes of all time! Come with One Day on an adventurous, dramatic and creative ride through Ancient Greece. Meet a whole host of characters such as the great Aristotle and Socrates! Will anyone fall in love with Cassandra? Will Pandora open her special box? Will Medusa’s snakes turn you to stone? We hear Alexander the Great is a bit of a force to be reckoned with. After all he did conquer Persia, Egypt, the Middle East and Northern India! Someone said he will get a bit snappy if he doesn’t get his way!

One Day will work with your pupils through a dynamic and theatrical One Day Creative workshop with our fully trained professional director. Our One Day director and your budding thespians will explore a diverse range of key themes such as enhanced creative teaching of a chosen topic/issue, enhanced speaking and listening skills, improved confidence, concentration, teamwork, understanding of theatre skills and oh yes… let’s not forget bags and bags of fun.

One Day Creative Education provide energetic workshops that your pupils will never forget! Our workshops are suitable for pupils whatever their academic ability and provide the perfect stimulus for further development to take back into your classroom!

"I wanted to say huge thank you to you for all your patience and support in arranging this visit to our school. Also a huge thank you to Steve for all his effort, enthusiasm and energy during the workshop. ALL the children in YR5 had an AMAZING day and were really grateful for the experience. I would love to arrange another visit as I strongly believe creative arts are so essential in developing our future generations, their minds, their creativity as well as their knowledge and understanding.
