Launching TWO Brand New STEM and Literacy Workshops in 2026

For 2026, we are extremely excited to announce two brand new STEM and Literacy workshops for primary schools across the UK. The first is Living Things, a STEM/Environment title that delves into the mysteries of the natural world (with an optional insert to celebrate 100 years of Sir David Attenborough). Next, we present a spellbinding new Literacy title: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

It’s important to us that all primary pupils can partake in special school events like British Science Week and World Book Day. As a result, both of these workshops can be adapted for KS1 or KS2 classes. Please see below for the full workshop synopses. Remember, our drama-filled days are led by a professionally trained facilitator. We use a blend of creative activities, group discussions and on-your-feet fun.

Living Things - STEM/Environment workshop for KS1 and KS2 pupils

Living Things, KS1 and KS2

Our planet is home to an incredible 8.7 million species of plants and animals. But can you believe that around 6.5 million of those species are yet to be identified?

It’s time for us to investigate the living world – and its mysteries – more closely. With your One Day facilitator, KS1 and KS2 pupils will use drama, movement and storytelling to embark on a scientific journey through different habitats (or ‘biomes’) on our unique planet. Discover the living things that call these amazing places home and explore how they have adapted to survive, grow and thrive – sometimes against the odds. Ideal for British Science Week in March. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz for KS1 and KS2 - Creative Literacy workshop for primary schools

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, KS1 and KS2

Whisked away by a whirlwind, Dorothy finds herself far from home in the magical land of Oz. Now it’s time for your primary pupils to join her on a fantastical journey along the yellow brick road!

In this drama-led Literacy workshop, your pupils will join a One Day facilitator using role-play and movement to follow in Dorothy’s footsteps. Fire up your imaginations as we explore a strange new world, learning about characters like the Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion along the way. Will you have the heart, brains and courage to reach the Emerald City? Let’s open The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and step into the spellbinding adventures of L. Frank Baum. Ideal for World Book Day in March. Visit workshop page.
