Perhaps you've already heard of Henry VIII, the English King who had six wives? He was a mighty fellow, but there's plenty more to learn about Tudor lives! This action-packed history workshop will bring to life the famous king, as well as the other five monarchs who ruled the Kingdom of England for 118 years. Delve into daily life, voyage in search of new lands and feast at a Tudor banquet.

What the children learn...

  • Examine the historical context of the Tudors
  • Discover how the rich and poor lived, comparing their lifestyles to your own
  • Investigate the influence the Tudors had on Britain during their 118-year reign
  • Explore ideas and feelings through role play, voice and drama

How this One Day Workshop works:

Structure

This is delivered as a full day workshop for one class of 35 pupils, or a half day each for two classes.

KS2 / P4 - 7

Price

Pricing for this workshop ranges from £365-£395 + VAT for the full day depending on the number of classes. Please get in touch for a tailored quote.

What we need from you

A large, clear space (such as a school hall) is ideal so participating children can move around comfortably. The more information you can provide about the needs of your class the better.
