It is that time of year again, when we are starting to think about Summer Schools. We already have a number of late-July and early August bookings in the diary for One Day Drama, Music & Dance workshops – especially linking with our topic of the summer, Brazil!
We all know the World Cup this year it is being hosted by Brazil, and our diary is jam-packed full of Brazilian Samba Drumming, Dance Carnival & Ola Brazil workshops up and down the country! We are also finding that these workshops are very popular choices for summer school activities.
We just wanted to share some lovely photographs from our February half term project at Brompton-on-Swale Primary School in beautiful North Yorkshire. Our workshops at this particular school include children from various schools in the same cluster. In the workshops, the children make new friends, and have lots of fun whilst still learning. We also embarked on an arts and crafts session, where the children made lovely, very colourful props and masks to wear in the final performance for parents.
Summer Schools are also very popular for year 6 transition. We already have lots of secondary schools booked in for the summer holidays, where year 6 pupils from the local feeder schools come up and work together ahead of their September start. Please enquire about our One Day Drama project, specifically designed for Year 6 and Secondary Schools’ transition days.
