Our Core Curriculum Residency Programmes provide PPA cover which strengthens your pupils understanding of curriculum topics whilst you’re away from the classroom. Our sessions use a range of drama and dance activities to bring the curriculum to life and make learning accessible for all. Throughout the sessions the whole class will be up on their feet and engaging with the topic.
The Programme is designed to fit around any topic your class is studying. Each week we provide your pupils with the same friendly facilitator who will guide them through their chosen topic each half term. From Space to Saxons, or Seaside to Stone Age, we’ll cover it all!
Whatever fun and creative topics your school chooses, we’ll adapt to fit, and your facilitator will check in regularly with the class teachers to make sure their sessions match up with classroom teaching. Our sessions result in increased understanding of your chosen topic, whilst also providing your pupils with the freedom to explore and express their ideas, thoughts and feelings. All of our sessions are designed to increase confidence and awareness of others around them through movement, role play and team building activities.
How we work?
Our Creative Leaders are at the heart of what we do. We recruit experienced facilitators from a range of different performing arts backgrounds, so we can match a facilitator with the needs of your school. We encourage our Leaders to become an active part of the school, to make sure that the messages that are important to you are continued in our workshops too.

After discussing your timetable and curriculum needs, we'll put together a schedule that fits around your PPA requirements.
Before the start of the Programme, we'll organise a visit with your One Day Creative Leader, alongside your designated School Relationship Ambassador, who will be available throughout the year to answer any questions that may crop up.
And then we're off! Your Creative Leader will keep class teachers updated regularly on the progress the class is making and what has been covered in the sessions. Your School Relationship Ambassador will check in throughout the year to make sure everything is of the top-notch quality we're used to providing.
