Living on the New Moon

England, Scotland, Wales

How do societies make decisions? What is the role of government? How do we morally and socially decide what’s best for those around us?

Living on the New Moon’ examines all these questions and more. Designed for KS2 and using drama techniques, we explore what it would be like to set up and govern ‘New Moon’ – a city being built on the Moon!

Pupils will have to make democratic decisions, decide on Law and Order, and work out what kind of education system to develop. ‘Living on the New Moon’ is an ideal workshop to accompany visits to the House of Commons, as well as perfect for developing pupils’ social and moral awareness.
