Here at One Day we are thrilled to be ringing in 2015 with a bang, and on Sunday we gathered our WHOLE team of facilitators together for a fun-filled One Day staff training extravaganza. There was singing. There was dancing. There was LOTS of laughing. But, most importantly, we talked about YOU.
We spent time swapping wonderful stories about the amazing schools we have worked with in 2014. We reflected on the excitement of our busy year, and the many rewarding experiences we’ve had with schools all over the UK, from Scotland to the South East and everywhere in between.
One Day has loved bringing you an action-packed summer of Brazilian Samba Drumming and Carnival Dance, celebrating the Commonwealth Games and Tour De France, helping you delve into the exciting history of your Stone Age ancestors and, of course, revelling in the festive season with our all-singing, all-dancing nationwide Christmas Pantomime.
But we don’t want to stop there.
We have lots of exciting projects planned for the coming months too. We don’t want to give away too much just yet, but we can tell you that at our staff training got us all VERY excited for 2015.
Our freelance team had the opportunity to share their wonderful abilities and experiences. We got energetic with our warm-ups, we lifted the learning off the page, and we refined the best techniques for bringing bags of creativity into your classrooms.
So, in 2015 we are ready to take your KS1 and KS2 pupils ‘Into the Screen’ with our dedicated Online Safety workshops. We’re ready to celebrate Chinese New Year with wonderful Chinese Ribbon Dancing. We’re ready to learn more about our shared history, like The Great Fire of London.
