Zumbatomic ® Kids Get Fit, Rock Out and Have A Blast! Watch your pupils' energy and fitness levels soar as they party through the beats!
Zumbatomic® classes are high-energy fitness parties that offer real results. Packed with specially choreographed routines and the latest music – like hip-hop and reggaeton – Zumbatomic classes increase focus and self-confidence, boost metabolism and improve coordination. More than just a great way to stay active and healthy, Zumbatomic classes offer a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere for kids.
Zumbatomic was designed to help kids develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of their lives. Developing a healthy lifestyle includes learning leadership, respect, teamwork, pride, confidence and responsibility, as well as developing coordination, balance, discipline, memory and creativity.
During a Zumbatomic class, students can expect to do a warmup, learn dance moves based on the Latin background from the Zumba fitness program, break down a song to learn all the dance moves, and perform a fun dance game and a performance for peers and parents. The sessions will include several rhythm demonstrations and will explore cultural influences from around the world; breaking down each culture and delving into the history of the music, learning about how it has evolved in the modern day.
These workshops can be combined with Dance Africa, and you can pick any of the following structures to the day:
Working with a group of up to 30 pupils for the full day, we create a choreographed show, performing 4 – 5 dance pieces at the end of the day.
Splitting the day into 2 halves (30 pupils in the morning and 30 in the afternoon) we can work on two routines for each group, delivering one performance before lunch and one at the end of the day.
Working with 3-4 groups of between 15-30 students in 45 minute sessions, to each learn a choreographed routine and to come together at the end of the day to perform to an audience of the school’s choice.
"We all found the workshop a great success and it fit in really well with our topic of Brazil. All the children engaged fully and it was pitched at a good level for this age group. Your instructor was brilliant with the children and as a result they listened and participated well. It was nice for the children to share some of their knowledge with your instructor at the end of the session also. We would definitely consider one of your programs again in the future!"
