Aimed at KS2, our “Friend/ Unfriend” One Day Drama is a lively and informative new workshop about staying safe online and how to deal with online bullying.
Imagine if for one day you and your friends had the chance to enter into the virtual world of the coolest new online cyber game!?
Are you prepared for the unexpected, yet skilled enough to navigate your way through a new fantasy world where all is not as it seems? Can you make smart choices about who you trust and what you reveal and, in doing so, can you protect yourself and your friends for long enough to survive online?
Through a fast-moving and exciting performance, pupils explore and tackle a range of internet safety issues. World of Thrones explores potential pitfalls and suggests ways to minimise risk through this dynamic One Day workshop!
One Day will work with your pupils through a dynamic and creative workshop with our fully trained professional facilitator. Our One Day facilitator and your budding thespians will explore a diverse range of key themes such as enhanced creative teaching of the chosen topic, stimulating imagination, encouraging discussion, enhanced speaking and listening skills, improved confidence, teamwork and oh yes… let’s not forget… bags and bags of fun!
"The children really enjoyed the workshop and are all really clued up now. They have been enthusiastic in their responses to an e-safety talk topic which I set for them each morning. The KS1 workshops were enjoyable yet portrayed the serious messages clearly to the children. The KS2 workshop and performance worked well in Yr5 and staff involved said they would definitely have that day again in subsequent years. It was really good for us being two form-entry that you were able to accommodate both classes, so often companies only really cater for one form entry schools - thank you!"
