The Rainy Rainforest

England, Scotland, Wales

Let's look at why rainforests are so important, what is happening to them, who (or what!) lives there... and how we can help to save them!

Life in the rainforest is ever changing – for the better and for the worse – with a constant demand for resources. Come with us and explore this wonderful place in all its natural beauty, and discover mankind’s relationship with it. One Day take a very colourful look at:

  • What are rainforests?
  • Where are they found?
  • What is in the canopy?
  • What is on the forest floor?
  • Rainforest rivers
  • Damaging our rainforests

One Day Drama project is a great complement to your curriculum resources for science, geography, environmental work and the creative arts and drama.

One Day will work with your pupils through a dynamic and creative workshop with our fully trained professional facilitator. Our One Day facilitator and your budding thespians will explore a diverse range of key themes such as enhanced creative teaching of the chosen topic, stimulating imagination, encouraging discussion, enhanced speaking and listening skills, improved confidence, teamwork  and oh yes… let’s not forget… bags and bags of fun!

"Thank you so much for a wonderful rainforest drama day. The children were really engaged throughout the day and used their in class learning to build on their subject knowledge. It was a real honour to watch them throughout the day and in the final performance when they had peers and some parents in to watch their performance. Many thanks to your Leader for her hard work, professionalism and sense of fun! The children had a very valuable day!
