Stop! Think! Words Can Hurt!

England, Scotland, Wales

Here at One Day, we understand that schools must enforce measures that will encourage good behaviour and prevent all forms of bullying. Our

Bullying can come in all different forms, but one way we can recognise it is when someone repeatedly intimidates, or causes harm to another person on purpose. The victims of bullying can be verbally, physically or emotionally assaulted, and are often threatened and made to feel frightened.

Stop! Think! WORDS CAN HURT! explores issues linked to bullying in school. We ask thought-provoking questions that will encourage pupils to explore what they would expect from a safe, sensitive and healthy environment! Key questions explored:

  • Preventing and tackling bullying: what exactly is bullying?
  • My friend is being bullied. What should I do?
  • I am being bullied at school. What should I do?

One Day will work with your pupils through a dynamic and creative workshop with our fully trained professional facilitator. Our One Day facilitator and your budding thespians will explore a diverse range of key themes such as enhanced creative teaching of the chosen topic, stimulating imagination, encouraging discussion, enhanced speaking and listening skills, improved confidence, teamwork  and oh yes… let’s not forget… bags and bags of fun!

"If a primary school is looking for someone to deliver a bespoke e safety package they need look no further than the team at ONE DAY CREATIVE. I only want the very best teaching and learning for our children and I highly recommend this package. The children really listened and took on board the advice. Parents have told us that your Leader has given their children the skills to be far more intelligent online. Often children think teachers and parents have no clue what social media is all about - but they were very happy to listen an some online bad habits have now been stopped. A very successful and important outcome."
