St Andrew Comes to Town

On 30th November the world celebrates St Andrew’s Day., Scotland’s National Day! There will be parties galore in Scotland and around the world ... so what’s the celebration about? St Andrew became the patron saint of Scotland over a thousand years ago - let’s find out why!

Your class will…

  • Explore a significant turning point in British history
  • Explore the timeline of the battle and the people involved
  • Have a great day!

One Day Drama packages offer a full day workshop led by an experienced facilitator who collaborates with pupils in order to explore the topic through drama. The focus of a One Day Drama workshop is always the content and learning, but we do offer the opportunity for an informal peer to peer sharing session, where the children can share what they have done throughout the day. This isn’t necessarily a performance, but an opportunity for children to take ownership of the experience. They can share their learning with their peers, or if you wanted, parents.

Tell us more about your classes knowledge of the topic in advance of the workshop so the content we deliver can hit the spot!

"Staff and pupils who were involved in the drama workshops thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Your Facilitator clearly set boundaries with the children and explained how the day would work out. She was also good fun and the children responded very well to her. Our pupils and staff, who attended were very impressed with what the classes had achieved in a short space of time. We would happily recommend you to others and hope to work with you again in the future."
