The Christmas That Was Nearly Missed

England, Scotland, Wales

It's Christmas again, but not all is not well in the fairy tale realm of Pantomime Land...

With help from the evil Maleficent, the Ugly Sisters, the sinister Abanazar and the scary Big Bad Wolf, the terrifying Giant known as Flesh-Creep plans to make this Christmas the worst one yet!

Jack is in hiding and stuck up a beanstalk, Cinderella’s riches have turned back to rags, Aladdin is trapped in the magical lamp and Hansel and Gretel are lost in the woods! the run from a pack of wolves!

Only Santa can stop this evil plot from becoming a reality. With the help of his trusted elves an trusty steed Rudolf, Santa travels to Panto Land to sort things out in this magical place, once and for all.

This One Day Drama project is aimed at Year 6 / Primary 7 pupils and is being delivered throughout December. The project includes movements and singing, so it really gives your pupils the opportunity to perform live to an audience. They will naturally build in confidence, work on speaking and listening skills and discover the importance of working together in a team.

"One Day worked with the whole school from Reception to year 6. The team not only learned every child’s name but got to know what their strengths were and how best to deploy these. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were able to display drama and performing skills to a degree of confidence which we had not seen before. The children performed their Christmas Play to all parents after four days. Parents commented on the excellent quality of the performance.”"
