Come with us for a journey of imagination, deep into the woods... One Day bring their own unique twist on this much-loved children’s favourite to life in your school hall!
All sat around the tea party table there was… the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, the Dormouse, the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, the lovely Alice herself and… who did you say? A griffin, a mock turtle, a pig and a cook? My oh my, they weren’t in the story were they?!
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, a few surprise characters are about to make an appearance in our bespoke Alice in Wonderland One Day Drama! This exciting creative adventure includes all the Alice in Wonderland characters we know and love and introduces a few new characters who tumble down the rabbit hole.
The project has been created to study character profiles and place them in different locations to look at characters’ reactions/adaptations. A very unique twist on this exciting tale!
One Day will work with your pupils through a dynamic and creative workshop with our fully trained professional facilitator. Our One Day facilitator and your budding thespians will explore a diverse range of key themes such as enhanced creative teaching of the chosen topic, stimulating imagination, encouraging discussion, enhanced speaking and listening skills, improved confidence, teamwork and oh yes… let’s not forget… bags and bags of fun!
"There was such a buzz around school on Monday morning when word got out about the quality of the workshops! We were delighted that your staff commented on how creative and enthusiastic the children were as well as complimenting them on their behaviour and cooperation skills. This balance was achieved because the workshops were really well managed to ensure that the children explored characters and events in lots of different ways, with each class being given scope to be imaginative and express diverse ideas whilst being motivated and guided to remain fully on task. It was a wonderful week for pupils and great CPD for staff too, as many of them have talked about incorporating some of the activities and techniques used by your team!"
